...hahahah, not those racing cars le. But the meal I whipped for Iftar tonight is truly a fast & furious dish. Took me only 30 mins to make the soup :D My so-called own recipe, yippeeee...Ingredients
2 Maggi Ikan Bilis cubes
1 tbsp of white pepper powder
Some water for the broth
Some Japanese Chilli Powdered Chilli Pepper Mix (to sprinkle)
Your choice of greens ( I used bokchoy)
Some chilli padi
A handful of Shiitake Mushroom
A handful of fishballs/fishcakes/sotong balls/crab sticks etc (whichever you prefer)
1 packet Udon Noodle (NTUC store-bought)
Salt & seasoning to taste (I omit this)
1 tbsp light soy sauce
Method
1. Clean all seafood & greens.
2. Boil water and add in the Ikan Bilis cubes & soy sauce. Stir well.
3. Add in the mushrooms, sotong balls & crab sticks and let boil.
4. Lastly, add in the greens and add dashes of white pepper powder. Turn off stove.
5. Boil udon and pour the hot broth over it. Sprinkle some chilli powder & chilli padi. Serve hot.
